NNEKA ADAMS' THE DEVIL IN BETWEEN, another banger

Nigerian-Canadian born Nneka Adams is back with a banger, this time around she didn’t ask for a taste of the cake, she has written her name on the cake, as a matter of fact it is safe to say she now owns the cake. The beautiful actor, screenwriter, producer and chief executive officer of Adams Films Production is definitely in the Nigerian film industry to stay.

This is emphatical as she makes a return with a blockbuster feature titled “THE DEVIL IN BETWEEN”, for her fans this is definitely not a surprise as she is known for exceptionally curated storylines, well notched acting and technical delivery.

Recur the fast rising actress, Nneka Adams, who was recently in the news revealed why she doesn't like kissing on set, saying in her words “ Whenever I have to share a kiss while filming, I find it challenging because I get attached to the actor for a while. I later made a promise to find a way to avoid sharing kisses in movies”.

The Delta state indigene and Unilag graduate of Philosophy didn't stop there as she scooped us even more when asked about her love life, in her words “I am not in a relationship at the moment, but I like a honest man, kind, God fearing and probably good looking.”

When asked why she choose to be unique in her storytelling she said “I always try to raise the standard of film production in Nigeria and Africa by telling progressive African stories. This to me is more than the money, It's one significant part the western world don't play with. Over there their are dedicated image makers. everyone who has seen Black Men Rock and other works of mine can testify to this. My brain functions faster than an average girl. I read a lot, which has helped me to grow and approach my endeavours creatively intentional”

She added;

“My films are also known for their fierce female leads and portray African women as people who can be breadwinners and lead complex life”.

With the successes of her previous movies like “Ruth”, “Black Men Rock” (shot last year 2017, was well received by the media). And other movies she has featured in which includes “Perfect Combo”, “If You Were Mine”, “Chronicles of Vendata”, “Last Flight to Abuja” and “A Nation Under Sieges”. One can only imagine how satisfying and proud a filmmaker she feels even at this point in her career, while fans world wide continue to applaud and anticipate.
