AMVCA BEST INDIGENOUS MOVIE (IGBO), "NNE-KA" SCREENS IN LAGOS

Multiple award winning actor and filmmaker, Uche Nnanna Maduka held an exclusive screening for her Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) winning movie, "Nne-ka" on Sunday 10th July 2022 at the prestigious Lekki Coliseum in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

"Nne-ka" the movie, had earlier this year, bagged the Best Indigenous Movie (Igbo) Award at the AMVCA, beating off stiff competition from other nominees.

According to Uchenna, the movie was borne out of the fact that there is a dearth of quality indigenous Igbo films in the Nigerian movie industry, and she is out to fill that void, winning an AMVCA with just her fifth feature film production.

The movie, which parades a pool of acting talents including Uche Nnanna-Maduka herself, Uche Ogbodo, Emeka Amakaeze, Nicole Banner, Florence Sunday, and many more, is set to start airing on major streaming platforms.

The feelers coming out from the exclusive screening - which had in attendance notable actors like Toyin Abraham, Uche Elendu, Florence Sunday, Chris Akwarandu, Arinze Okonkwo, Oby Uzoukwu, Maureen Solomon, Victor Okapala, Super Star music artiste Chidimma Ekile, and many other dignitaries from various walks of life - is that "Nne-Ka” is a must watch.
