Who is Nneka Adams?

Nneka a graduate of Unilag is a unique Nigerian known for her attention to detail during her pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The Delta State indigene and Lagos bred is behind great titles like Black Men Rock, The Devil in Between, The Gentleman, and Last Flight to Abuja, among others.

The popular stunning actress who started her career as a teen actor almost took us to the days of the 90s and early 2000s Nollywood love stories in ‘His Queen’. Her distinctive story style approach is not farfetched.

In a recent interview with ThisDay newspaper, the beautifully talented and gorgeous but simple producer emphasized on African storytellers carefully retaining and maintaining Africa’s culture through authentic indigenous African stories.

The single but not searching celebrity, stressed her resolve in raising the standard of film production in Nigeria and Africa by telling progressive African stories as realistically seen through the eyes of Africans. The book lover is also a strong advocate for equal rights.

The story behind ‘His Queen’

In the days of bandwagon in Africa’s biggest and most promising film, Nollywood filmmaker, Nneka Adams, takes a different direction to create a twisted love illusion, in a not common approach. She recently revealed that ‘His Queen’ was a carefully crafted project, adding, it took meticulous time.

‘His Queen’ tells the story of a betrothed is determined to arrest her lover's abrupt negative attitude towards her and towards his own people.

The suspense-filled drama was directed by the multi-award-winning Nollywood movie director, Charles Uwagbai, and produced by Nneka Adams. It features celebrities like Kenneth Okolie, Racheal Okonkwo, Nneka Adams, and Stanley Igboanugo.

‘His Queen’ is currently enjoying airtime on RokTV and IrokoTV and has been marked fans favourite, having garnered only positive reviews.

Nneka is up to something

The bold dreamer in a recent interview with The Nation Newspaper revealed she is currently working with her team to establish a charity foundation called “The Nneka Adams Foundation.” The goal of the foundation she revealed is to help widows, less privileged and orphans.

In her words, “TNAF (the foundation) will support young people education, I have been so blessed and I believe in sharing these blessings by giving back to the society”, the soft and kind-hearted daughter of actress added.
