VICTOR OLAOTAN: HE IS FINE AND STABLE
Tinsel star, Victor Olaotan was said to have been involved in an auto crash on Monday, October 31, 2016, in Lagos. Nollywood actor, Victor Olaotan is reportedly in a coma following a car crash this morning according to strong social media rumours.
However when we reached out to Olaotan via his direct phone number, we were enjoined by a lady who simply said
'he is stable and fine. We his family are thankful,’
She however declined to explain further.
Olaotan got into acting in in 1959 at the age of 17. The veteran actor kick started his career on stage when he was chosen to represent his school in the play “Gods Are Not To Blame”.
In 1974 he starred in a soap opera by Laolu Ogunniyi called “Candles In The Wind” alongside Kehinde Craig. He also once worked with NTA Ibadan where he produced Yoruba and English dramas.
In 1981, he joined a group of 8 Nigerian performers who escorted former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari to the United States to have a meeting with Ronald Regan.
He was on MNET’s "Tinsel" series for seven years where he played the role of Fred Ade-Williams.
